Starlink Receives License for Satellite Broadband Services in Sri Lanka

The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) has granted a Telecommunications Service Provider License to Starlink Lanka (Private) Limited under Section 17B of the Sri Lanka Telecommunications Act No. 25 of 1991, allowing them to offer Satellite Broadband Services in Sri Lanka.

This license will be effective from 12th August 2024, the TRCSL said in a statement.
